Routine maintenance is mostly moisture control and inspection: sit on washable towels, ventilate and dry the space after use, wipe blankets after cooling, keep drains clear, inspect heater stones and fasteners, and follow the finish rules for the exact wood. Outdoor shells also need weather and base checks.
After every session
Remove wet textiles, let surfaces dry, and follow the product's cooling and cleaning instructions. Avoid unapproved cleaners on infrared blanket coatings or sauna wood.
- Wipe high-contact surfaces.
- Leave ventilation operating as specified.
- Check for standing water.
- Log unusual smells, noise, or slow warm-up.
Quarterly and seasonal checks
Inspect door seals, glass hardware, electrical controls, heater stones, fasteners, roof or shingles, base drainage, and exterior finish. Address water ingress early rather than hiding it behind trim.
